So we built this website in 2015 using djangoCMS. At that time, foundation and sass were super cool. I'm sure they're still cool, but I know for certain that even cooler things have evolved in the meantime. I'm speaking, of course, of tailwindcss.
I still have to sit down and do the numbers, but the loading speed of the site has increased dramatically for sure.
Not only has the size of the styles decreased, but we were also able to get rid of those nested, unmaintainable obscure
.scss
style files altogether! To me, this is one of the main benefits of using tailwind: no more custom style sheets.
